Spring salts are natural salts that can be self-crystallized without being refined in the natural environment and can retain the minerals they contain. Spring salt is different from known Rock, Lake or Sea Salt. There are very few in our country wide. Saltpans where spring salts are obtained are Turkey's largest natural sources of salt. Mayi Salt comes out to the earth as water from the lower layers of the earth. This water is then transferred to the sera type pools by transfer channels and the salty water is evaporated by the heat of sun in the pools and the liquid is converted to solid form. After this step, spring salts are packed with healthy boxes under hygienic conditions and delivered to consumers without sacrificing nature.
The underground spring salt does not contain any chemical additives because of the natural formation. Unlike the lake and sea salts which are affected by environmental pollution, it is the most hygienic and natural salt type. The main structure of quality salt has 92 minerals and 84 elements. Except spring salt, the production of other types of salt is done with machinery and equipment. The spring salt is extracted entirely by human power, it is not produced by adding something like the others, it is extracted from its natural source. Its cost is a little bit higher than other types of salt, as it is rare and produced by care and labor intensively.
